Dr Sara Ward,
Chief Operating Officer
Sara had a successful career as a research fellow at several medical schools in London before relocating to Oxford, where she led the operations for several national research programmes in the social and medical sciences including oversight of the final year of the NIHR CLAHRC and the early stages of the Oxford and Thames Valley Applied Research Collaboration (ARC). She also has broader consulting experience working independently in academic and healthcare settings.
As Chief Operating Officer, Sara contributes across the partnership to champion and support collaboration. She brings a broad understanding of the systems involved in medical research, advances in data science and an aptitude for connecting people to the role. She is a Quality Improvement Practitioner and Coach.
