Chief Executive Officer, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Meghana joined the Trust in January 2019 as Chief Medical Officer from University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust where she was Chief Medical Officer and Deputy Chief Executive.  After some months as Interim Chief Executive Officer, she was appointed Chief Executive Officer from 1 March 2023.

Her clinical background is in obstetrics and gynaecology, and in fact she was an SHO and registrar at the John Radcliffe and Churchill hospitals in Oxford during her training.

Meghana became a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, then Clinical Director, and finally Divisional Director at Milton Keynes NHS Foundation Trust before becoming Chief Medical Officer at UHCW in 2012.

She has been Professor of Practice in the Institute of Digital Health at Warwick University since 2015, has a prize MBA from Oxford Brookes University, and is a Senior Founding Fellow of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management.
