Career pathways

Through robust health research and innovative approaches, research teams across Oxford achieve results that set new standards, while sharing knowledge openly so others can benefit too. Our programmes support clinical and allied health disciplines to help build and maintain the foundations for robust, interdisciplinary health and care research.

Our initiatives include:

  • Celebrating NMAHPPs in Research Conference: We host Oxford’s annual showcase of research delivered by our nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, healthcare scientists, pharmacists and psychologists
  • Research Development Award Scheme: Developing academic pathways for nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals
  • Charity awards for research skills development: Funding conference attendance, training and educational visits or team days.
  • Oxford Workforce Living Lab: Make a practical sustained impact on NMAHP retention and recruitment issues.
